His dreams were taken away
His originality beaten and bashed
Seen as though through a glass darkly
They couldn’t spare their time
Never seen for as he was
A delicate soul scarred and bruised
No longer was he light as air
Inside he turned
Now in the puddle a villain’s replaced
The hero that once was there…
