Falling Leaves

When falling leaves turn to dust, when hope is strung out far too long. When you forget the simplest things, when you no longer think of yourself as strong. Think of when I held your hand, ever so tight. Through all the hints of jealousy, anger and most of all spite. You must turn your head to the future, when hearts are broken from words unspoken. I loved you then like I love you now, But love has such a loose meaning to you.
