Don't judge a book by its cover,
But it's so hard not to judge, when all I can see is the cover,
And the cover keeps pulling me over,
And I think not I can recover.

I would love to open the book,
and read the words inside.
But I'm afraid I'd crease the pages,
and I'd never get the book again.

Just a book,
You're like a book,
a book I want to borrow, and never return.
A book I want to hold close, and cherish like a lover.
A book I want to read cover to cover till I am over.
A book I can read and say I love her.
