Moonlight slips in and touches your face
Reminding you of another
While being held by someone else
The moonlight takes you back in time
To a place where shivers and goosebumps
Were the results of the right touch
Wonder and innocence still existed
Magic was not only possible
But was the definition of that time
You found solace in the moonlight
Because it reminded you to be happy
To have been lucky enough to crossed paths
With someone that made you feel like that
Not everyone has a chance
Being truly free in that moonlit dance
