solidified

an unbreakable
fortress
armed
and poised
vowing to never
be a fool again
until
a small arrow
sailed over
the mighty
stone fortress
and pierced
her open heart
snarling
she hastened
to reach out
and defeat
the intruder
but the arrow
held firm
twisting and
crushing
the fortress
of stone
until her heart
was opened
once more
and the two
hesitantly
approached
each other
slowly surrendering
their walls
and joined
in unity
into one heart
stronger than
the forces
that had once
been able
to tear theirs apart.
