These are the words of our Father in heaven
These are the promises given to us
These are the words found in the bible
Words to strengthen and comfort our lives
Words that speak of trials, temptations
Of power and hope for an ailing nation
Words to bring us close to Jesus
Helping us during our time of troubles
Words that are tested and proven true
Filling us with power to claim His victory
Through every valley and every time
We look up to heaven and praise His name
We have a beautiful, wonderful God
Who knows every time we need His help
He is the God of all mercy and hope
Jesus is so beautiful and so great
Leading us on to a promise of peace
Joy and forgiveness in every day
