I end every day the same way I begin it
I pray
God I pray that I encounter you
That I can understand the unconditional love I have from you
So that I may live my life as a living sacrifice
So that through you I can tell the whole world the price you paid to save every living soul you made
And God sometimes I feel like a loss
Like a wave tossed in the infinite ocean of sin
Wrapped up in the world of men
A slave to depravity and worshipping false idols of travesty
But God I know that you'll still have me
You saved my soul to give me purpose and you made me whole
And when I stray away from you my heart is a hole
But God when I change my pace and begin to chase another Worldly desire you pick me up and say, "son get back in that race."
And sometimes I run that race with a different face
But no matter how hard I try to hide, God you redeem me with your perfect sacrifice. And I'm just a sinner saved by grace, given by you to defend my faith
And God I pray that one day when I encounter you, and I get down on my knee and bow for you
God that you ask me of my love for you
And every time that I've turned my back on you
You ask me if I agape you
And all I want is to take your hand and follow you
To mend my broken heart that calls for you
Because without you nothing in this life will be true
So lift me up to serve you, father
And let me not bend my knee to another
This is my prayer that I pray to you
To save my from myself and deliver me unto you
