don't ask me for a poem-
i have authoritative issues.
don't ask me to be quiet-
i'm in tears; i need tissues.

don't ask me to do  it-
i'm not that kind of lady.
don't ask me to smile when you whistle-
to me, that's straight up shady.

don't ask me to be sorry-
if i do wrong, i might.
don't ask me to listen-
but get mad when i put up a fight.

don't ask me what's wrong
when you finally dull my light.
