Memoirs of a Lonely Summer (I)
While you were lying by my side
I only wanted to hold you tight
So tight to keep you warm
On cold and breezy nights.
While you were crying by my side
I only wanted to wipe away the tears
Fill your heart with never-ending kisses
From the bottom of my heart
(to yours).
Poured all my love out to you
Yours and only yours
I figure that you want it
I figure that you don't.
While you locked eyes onto me
Our hearts stirring in
Butterflies in frenzy
'I love you' we declared.
My tilted eyes denounce me
There's nothing to be done
Nothing but surrender
to this impromptu love.
Cold breeze and end of summer bring two lost souls together
