I never told you about Holden
I never even finished The Catcher in the Rye
And actually all I wanted to tell you was
How I related to how bleak he was
And I think you got the point,
I think you got the point when I told you
I might die
I'm esther greenwood
I'm Holden
I'm every broken character
I'm a walking classic novel
Manic depression

And you told me if I died,
That would be the worst thing
But I can't help if I'm falling from the weight
Of falling figs from my hope tree
