Forgiveness is such a simple thing,
but how can I ask that you forgive me,
While you were alive I hurt you so,
If I had be you I would have let you go,
You loved me enough to forgive me so,
I glad that you did not let me go,
It hurt me to see you die,
I prayed to our Lord so you would not
die but to let you live
so I could have you by my side.
You forgave me for my many lies,
and you loved me enough to keep me
by your side until the very day you died,
and now all I can do is cry.
