I told you I was reminiscing
You asked
"Good, or bad"
The fact of the matter is
These memories are no longer defined by their situational merit
There are no good and bad only neutral
For the memories we shared then will only ever be that
Memories we shared then
We will no longer lay in your bed
With my arms around you
Like I'm a dying cancer patient
And you are my life support
And talk about the good times we shared and the trials we overcame
those are the past and this is now
And now
You are no longer mine to hold
