Outside these walls the fury rings
Screaming over broken things
Do I stay and wait for dawns gold wings
Or shall I risk what nighttime brings

Outside these walls amongst the roar
As black waves crash upon glass shore
And moonlight streams across the moor
The sea and sky do clash in war

Outside these walls I wish to go
Into night as dark as wings of crow
Where midnight moon doth not sink low
But casts instead an eerie glow

Outside these walls the monsters leer
I swallow an unbridled fear
As safety now is all but near
Outside these walls that keep me here
