Mercury asked Venus
'Where's Earth?'
The Moon interposed
Saying, ' There!'
Mercury went,' Ah!...
So that is the CENTRE of
Attraction!'
Mars and Jupiter
Did their own thing,
Hung there
Without a string.
Saturn,
Was distracted,
Mesmerized by the fleeting, burning
Asteroids
Giving Saturn a cosmic wink!
Uranus
And
Neptune
Drank it all in,
The
Universe,
And
got
Pluto/'d!

The Sun!
Humankind exclaimed!
WELL..She,
Kept herself warm
By the fire.

The Universe!
Well
HAD
The Universe,
But
The Universe,
'The Universe' does not Desire!

IT,
Like All Creation,
WANTS?
