If you really love me,
Tell me the truth.
Don't tell me what you think I want to hear.
A hastily placed "I love you."
A bat of the eyelashes.
An attempted distraction.
If you really love me,
And I hope you do,
Then help me plan our future.
Our road to travel together.
I won't desert you on the path.
But if you want to leave, I'll wander off.
And you can walk the next mile without me,
As I try to find my way back.
If you're not happy,
Then go find your wants, wishes and dreams.
Become happy.
And once I know you're happy,
My own travels will be easier.
