Constantly changing and growing
Seeds bursting forth new life
Watered with love and guidance
Fed with pain and strife.

Breathing forth the tension
Of struggling with birth
The light of God our father
The womb of mother earth.

The seasons change, the winds blow cold
The seeds retreat into their fold,
To silence still, to still the night
To feed the ever-growing light
That lies with each and every part
Beating still, the garden's heart.

The seasons change, the sun grows warm
The seeds begin to come in form
The pressure builds, the tension mounts
To break the shell, the earth renounce
To reach the light, the light within
Bursting, striving, to begin.

Pushing up, each and every part
The living soul, the garden's heart.
