Death is a Wingspan
Time slows for no one
For me it's just as true
I'd beg every god in existence
Just one more second with you
Time is unforgiving
Just as death can be
I'll beg both to stop in their tracks
I'll beg both to show mercy
I've swallowed my own blood
Thinking of losing you
If time and death don't hear my plea
I haven't a clue what I'll do
I'll have to resort to rewinding the world
Like what a video could do
Then time and death will have no choice
Theyβll have to listen to me
I'll beg them to take me
After all I'm just a girl
You are a deity come to life
And I'm nothing in this world
Worthless and meaningful
death longing - death's undeserving
Take the one that means nothing
Leave the one that's worth living
My words have no meaning
Your words heal the sick
I hold you as your eyes close for the last time
Because death is a wingspan
