It was a usual night,
chicken for dinner,
I'm late.
But something was different.
I felt the ground rumble like a drag race.
It was like our house was at war with itself.
All went black.
I was still in a stupor.
I was dizzy from a headache.
I see a house,
It's lousy now.
I feel sick,
knowing nobody would be there this time.
