I miss the Desert wind
blowing through your hair
and that big open sky
where the night would always shine
as a falling star would pass by

I miss the Springtime bloom
and the Summer heat of June
where thoughts of you I would hold
and I'm missing you

I miss those times together
where we thought it would be forever
walking barefoot through the sand
by the lake near the dam
where we would always go
and I held your hand
while you whispered my name

I miss the small town park
on a midnight stroll
where we kissed under the midnight moon
in the shadow of the dark
where I thought you'd always be mine
and I'm missing you

I miss the morning sunrise
as it warmed the day
to light the love in your eyes
that I swore would never die

I miss the evening sunset
where the dreams would never forget
as long as you were always there
and I'm missing you

I miss the smell in the air
after the falling of a rain
that always brought a rainbow through
and lead me right to you

I miss the miles that would never end
as we got lost along the way
down some empty Desert road
and the smiles you'd always send
with words you would always say
and I'm missing you
