We were young wild and free
neither had no care or worry
nothing together we wouldn't do
we were living love and living easy
as time stood still with no hurry
there was nothing we couldn't get through
with it just being me and you
seasons would come and years would pass
and the dreams we had never would last
all we shared were now left in the past
but still every now and then
I find myself thinking back when
remembering days of a memory
when we thought together would always be
what it was we use to see
