When it was you in a picture
I thought that I had everything
but the pain you would bring
in time brought me the pleasure
of all your sweet little misery

Once for you I thought I would die
then I saw through your sweet little lie
and now for you I feel nothing

Taking a step back so I can breathe
now you're only a stepping stone underneath
of what I use to feel in your sweet little agony

Thinking someday you might change
how it was you were meant to be
I tried to give you what you couldn't see
then you played that fool of me
finding in you what I couldn't rearrange

Rising from this hell you put me beneath
waking up from your sweet little fantasy
I'm breaking free from your chains
that tried to keep a hold of me
