These words I write in steel
For I fear living within a world
Bound between loosely knit hallows
Perpetuated by the lonesome crinkling
Of a paper wrought in a sleeve of gold and silver
As sweetly as the soft waxing of a grand moon
Swaying amongst the throes of light
Darkened by the sickening influx
Of overindulgence creeping and undulating
Ever towards my secrets wrapped in steel
The truth can be hard to write; hard like steel.
