Brain Folk
A sudden turn of events
in the cavernous minds
of ignorant, hopeful men.
All bridges have been burnt.
Complete halt in the reconstruction.
But - the brain folk need to pass,
(the path of least resistance)
so they enter the canyons
beneath their beloved bridges.
Suddenly the mood switches:
"These ditches contain riches!"
A vacation from the run-of-the-mill
colorless everyday crossings.
With destruction comes discovery.
