You have stuck in my mind
And I fear it's far too late.
For no matter whose eyes I claim to love,
It's yours I see.

I see you in the green grass,
In the sunshine,
Trees you'd climb,
These fingers you'd hold.

And it's been so long, my love,
Since you abandoned me in the dark,
But you're still imprinted upon my eyelids,
And i'd still pay any amount to hear your laugh.

I love you.
Though you've caused me so much pain,
And you elude me so completely,
I love you.
