Chained in a cupboard,
hiding    starving    rage;
moist   lonely   prison  ward
thoughts flowing from the cage.

Old   clouds   of   mem'ry   ringing
thin         branches,         capillaries;
delicate     lives     singing,     dancing,
hopping  through  the  mystical  breeze.

Hot     sting     of    dis - allowance,
steel    cotton    wool    betrayal
reveals   a   hallowed   trance,
an     ever     stalling     trial.

Reflection             burning
radiant                 fiction:
mindless       churning
contra     -     diction.

Strain deepened,
sound decried,
weaken- ed,
denied.....

Chained
