I held a smile that stretched cheek to cheek
But inside my room everything is dull and bleak
Outside of my room, I am a vibrant rainbow
But inside my room, I bury a pain no one knows.

I relive the memories of a shattered tie between friends
Because no matter how positive I try to be, things end,
And I keep my head held up high outside my room
While inside I fold my arms and descend into gloom.

I smile for you but I cry for me,
Tissues that wipe away eye seas,
So that inside my room I died
and outside my room, I lied.
