Absent Companion
And would even matter anyway?
Does it matter what words I say?
Can nothing make you stay?
I see now you have a good life
I wonder what that feels like
You know I always make a mess of mine
Still I see you walking with him
Thats when all the pain is real again
I miss my lover.. My best friend
The love we shared has vanished
Might have even left the planet
You look so happy.. I cant stand it..
When's it my turn for a happy end?
In this endless game of pretend..
I miss my lover.. I miss my friend..
