Oh, my love of you
is like a fire deep within me
that rages and rages
beyond my control!
Oh, you are a vision
you are a phantom
burned deep within my brain.
Oh, you are the height
of all my wants
and of all my dreams.
Oh, my love of you
and my want of you
has surpassed all my love of life.
only your warm and tender arms
can heal the terrible pain
of my grief for you
when you are absent from me.
Oh, my Queen
Queen of my heart and soul
I have such a painful longing
to hold you within my arms
and sing you such a love song
that it would make the angels weep
and I would rock you to sleep
as though you were my only sweet child.
And the pain of my longing
knows no end.
Oh, to hold you! Oh, to hold you!
Oh, my precious
Oh, how you make me dream of you.
Oh, you are deeper within my heart
than any living thing has ever been
and so shall you ever be.
No government of man
nor all the angels in heaven
nor all the demons
from the deepest inΒ Β hell
shall ever pluck you from my heart
and so shall my love ever remain
for all the infinity of time.
