They look at you like you're the sun
too bright
You give them light and life
but they look at their shadows
andΒ blame you for the darkness
it's always the sun's fault
don't you know you burn too hot on cloudless days?
don't you care how cold it gets when you're away?
well, maybe you never wanted to be the sun
maybe you don't know howΒ to be anything else
