Together then it's best to move on
But if you want to start creating
I'm more than happy for procreation
Of future nostalgia and recollection.
And if already we have them,
Those precious mental photographs
Then cherish them
And hold them tightly
For you never know when
I'll be leaving
And you can say you knew me.
If we've put the time into
A friendship and fostered
Something real then
Know I'm not forgetting you.
