Mar 2016
The sunlight washed over you in glittering waves
Your eyes a brisk golden haze
Your hair muddled my brain
My heart considered slain

The heavy rain washed us over
With it a hostile takeover
My soul and all
Held in awe

You held me in your palm like like a little flower
and god knows you had all the power
Crushed me like an ant
You're my queen i'm your peasant
