This is a story about a girl
Who saw people
As words
Strung
Together with
Light
Who was disappointed
When those words were boxed in
Identical
Concrete
Prisons
Who saw stormy words in a smile
And endless words in endless eyes
And fiery words in every breath
Sudden
Passionate
Free
She saw words that burned and danced on
Every
Molecule of
Air
Impossibly bright, but
Impossibly far
So far
She
Could
Not
Feel
Their
Warmth
