I reached out and took her hand
and was captivated by her eyes
my mind began to formulate a plan

was near some trees planted in a stand
when I first heard her sighs
I reached out and took her hand

Beyond the age of a boy, I was a man
with needs I could not disguise
my mind began to formulate a plan

on a deserted beach in an unknown land
thinking about the lord of the flies
I reached out and took her hand

attempting to show her a life so grand
free from angst, discomfort, or lies
my mind began to formulate a plan

t’was to her arms in which I ran
thinking without her I may die
I reached out and took her hand
my mind began to formulate a plan
