All this anger, what is it for?
You used to carry the fire
of your youth,
but now you lie alone,
numb to everything
that surrounds you.
When you wake up tomorrow,
where will you be?
Will the sun soak your skin
or will curtains keep you
tucked away for another year?

Does the uncertainty scare you?

It better.
