Mar 2016
how unkind are we ? now that the meteors are in hand
and the grinding gears of the rain
have chiseled a new sun
from our rib cage ?
how do we proceed with our atoms ?
gritting our teeth against the migraines of sand
in our dark eyes... lumbering toward
some awful truth that spells love
in blood

on a splinter.
