Its like all of a sudden your life is consumed by a hand held device that does nothing but buzz and vibrate when someone you don't even talk to sends you a text saying "hey I miss you" and then does nothing about it,
Fresh out of preschool and parents are buying their kids nothing but garbage,
That child is going to grow up looking at images of the perfect person,
That child is going to grow up thinking you're only pretty with a gap between your thighs,
Or girls will only like you if your jaw line is sharp enough to cut glass,
That child is going to grow up thinking *** is just something that happens,
Thinking that you're crazy if you save yourself for marriage,
That child is going to be obsessed with a machine that kills them from the inside out,
By grade eight the entire school will have seen that child's naked pictures she sent to the boy she liked last night,
She only sent them because if she didn't he wouldn't like her back,
That child didn't care though because that's what she thinks is right,
That's what this killing machine taught her,
Drugs is something casual,
And getting high every night won't affect you,
At least that's what that child will grow up thinking,
Twitter, instagram, snapchat and Facebook become a religion,
They practice Tumblr everyday instead of going outside to practice shooting soccer *****, or tossing the football,
Text messages are sent from across the room,
Relationship are ended because of an ignored snapchat,
When all they had to do was dial their number and ask them how their day was,
Everyone is consumed by a killing machine,
Communication is rare,
Technology is inevitable,
That child won't learn her lesson,
Until the entire school has seen her naked.
