there's always a drunk among the living
that always courtyards
the breathing space of centipedes
in elevators for a bearable tangle of
arithmetic foot count that's mistaken
for a bunch of tourists at buckingham parlour
organising waiting lines of less than fifteen minutes
topped with the word maximum on a lease.
