Black.
          Sorrow.
                       Death.

All these thoughts, twirling through our mind.
Confusion spreads among us as we all stop being kind.

The very edge of insanity is so close and yet so far.
Hatred is an option that we all consider.
                    Hatred towards ourselves.
                                 Not toward others.

If that option be chosen, you'd better be wary.
If you let it drive you, it can get a little scary.
Sometimes we hurt because we are impaired.
But dont let your life be darkness and despair.
