Stomach squeezing
Pulse rate soaring
Free falling through my belly.

My heart, it flips
Ans somersaults.
Legs turn to plates of jelly.

My mind is reeling,
Tummy is tickling,
Reacting over nothing.

Brain is swimming,
Eyes are shining,
I'm coming down with something!

Head is spinning,
Cheeks are blushing,
Blood is pump-pump-pumping.

All this and more
'Cause when I see you
My heart starts bungee jumping!
a note: Written at 2am one morning when I was 14. This poem got me shortlisted in the 'Wicked Young Writers Award' and invited to an awards ceremony in London!
