They say that to feel everything so very deeply
Is both a blessing and a curse
Nothing could be more true
I don't truly want her
Not in the way that she wants me
The spark just isn't there
But I care for her so much
That to reject her now
Would crush her
And in turn crush me
But to be disingenuous with my desire
Is like starving to death instead of just biting the bullet
Both parties suffer in cases of unrequited love.
