Gazing for Stars
i brush the dust off my cheek from
nine hours of star gazing with my
face on the window sill, i thought
maybe there's a better me out there
if i could just send a search squad
i'd have a chance but i don't
i'm stuck with me, only me
i'm the person i could only ever be
i thought maybe i should sell myself
out, think only what others think
march onward with my robotic legs
in exchange for some sleep
Being up for hours thinking about why I feel like I don't fit in with people.
