Dec 2015
The night is still and silent with presents piled under the tree
Placed there while you soundly sleeping in your bed
Put there by hard working mommy and daddy
Time to send up thanks to the Lord
As his wonders on earth keep us in awe
Snow falling soft and white on another christmas  morning
Memories are calling of christmases of long ago
Of snowball tossing and driving down city streets in the snow
Passing strangers smiling and salvation army bells ringing
Asking you to please give
So that somewhere in the big town a foster child
Can be helped to live
