Faith (06-15-10)

We walk by faith, not by sight What did Paul mean? We walk in the dark with God as our light We believe in the things unseen Faith is the substance of things hoped for Longing for a better country-a heavenly one Will help us rely on God more And walk in the footsteps of His son Faith is the evidence of things not seen Believing God is everywhere Helping us stay clean With faith in Him, nothing can cause a scare Faith is true belief in the Lord Letting Him take the wheel Hanging onto Him as if he is your last cord Trusting Him for more than blessing your meal Without faith it is impossible to please Him, Impossible to see His best So who wouldn't want to go out on that limb And take everything as His simple test With faith we can say 'it is well with my soul' We can feel happiness, even down deep Knowing He is in control So faith, you should always keep
