Poems
Dec 2015
September 20th
The hospital room
Is shrouded with fear.
"She's with God now,"
Is all I hear.
I fall to the floor
In a mass of tears.
Screams burn my throat
As everyone nears.
I'm pulled into a seat,
My mind still so unclear.
I won't be able to live without you,
Not even for the rest of this year.
This poem is a narrative of the day my Great Aunt Becky passed away.
