Dec 2015
sometimes all it takes with a painting
is a matter of distance:
sometimes the further away the painting is
the more meaning it brings.;
even though a circle will remain a circle
at whatever distance, i’m talking aesthetic forms,
the sort of platonism that’s not really assured
the existence of circles, a, b or triangles;
a bit like this one canvas i did with my thumb
and cigarette ash... from a certain distance
i spotted the completely sclera eye,
and the other i just pireced the paper to expose...
but i had fun creating it,
even though i enjoyed drinking more,
given that the world descended into conflict over the
problem of danzig - danzig being like the old grecian city-state
with no ally, not even st. petersburg, not even kaliningrad.
