So you think it will help you
Finding that new style?
You know for a fact
That it doesn't change a thing
You will always wonder
What would of happened
If you'd of stayed with me

So when you close your eyes
Is it my face that you see?
Because when I close mine
It's not you staring back at me
Going back to square one
It's time I'm moving on

Do you ever stop
And think, what's the point?
Do you stare at those old pictures
And have them shaking in your hand
I've got past that now
It's about time you did too

Do you read back our conversations
Reminisce our past contemplations
Whether it was policies or feelings
That really move the nations
Or if it is music or poetry
That really moves the heart

I don't get that feeling
When I walk past your house
You used to make me smile
Now you barely twitch my mouth
Yeah, it's true I have my doubts
But It's sanity that shouts...

No more

So when you close your eyes
Is it my face that you see?
Because when I close mine
It's not you staring back at me
Going back to square one
It's time I'm moving on
