Poems
Dec 2015
the sad one
a little girl with sad eyes
sits in a field of flowers
plucking petals off of stems
one by one
she captures them
in the apron of her skirt
letting loose
the puddle of brilliance
she watches with weary eyes
as a rainbow of color
whisks through the skies.
