Long back,
I was working in a tea shop.
Every morning, She visit our shop
She likes our tea
I always prepare special for her lips
Though, she was a Manager of an institution
she treats me as her friend
Whenever she was absent,
I think of her, the way she sip the tea,
the way she hold the cup and
as she sip, of the faint half-smile of her lips.
And I know her exact combination of Milk & Sugar
When she drinks, I can see her soul in her eyes.
I thanked the women harvest the slopes
for the sweetest leaves on Nilgiri's mountains.
She got transferred,
But the cup remains my treasure,
It bring her memories,
back to me…
