Dec 2015
Welcome to the nightshade
The black orchid poison painted
Pain inflamed that calls your name
That dark corner in your memory
Where the little me hides fearfully
Where the bruises come freely
Bleeding easily like raining anger
Red, and wet with regret
Draining the very core
Of who I hoped Iā€™d be
A dream turned into nightmare
Daring to pray darkly with poetry

Welcome to the horror show
Just so you know the tumor
Is not benign it only grows
Absorbing sadness, and tragedy
**** filled and putrid stench
Animals run in fear of it
The creature queer
Who crawls and sneers
Just beneath the thin veneer
Of our once radiant humanity
Welcome to then end
