I sit
Silent
Still
One with inertia

Wind and rain swirl
Beyond the window

On the table
A candle flame
Sways gently

Eyes return
Waiting
As I sit
And Listen
For the answer

It’s time to decide
To break the news
Of one big change
For eternity

Is it possible?
That I can free myself?
Decide and stick with it?

It’s tough
And yet
Procrastination is tougher

Years go by
In waiting

It might work out
Better
After all
